This past May, I made some new friends who came from Eastern Europe. One of which was from Ukraine. One day, they asked if anyone on one of our Discord server was going to watch the Eurovision Song Contest. I was always curious and wanted to watch the contest, hence the many fabulous and fruity things that are loved by everyone, gay, European, or both! Some of the many fruity stuff included ABBA with their song Waterloo, Sergey Stepanov (aka the Epic Sax Guy), Conchita Wurst (a bearded drag queen, who I like to personally call him "Gay Jesus" :3), Windows95man, and Nemo, the first nonbinary person to represent a country in Eurovision.
Now, like everyone else who witnessed and participated in Eurovision 2024, I share a strong opinion that we hold dear. With Israel committing many war crimes on Palestine, it wasn't fair to have Israel participate in the show. We protested, we booed, we even panicked on Discord when they edited in cheering. But in the end, despite Eden Golan's trashtalking behing the scenes and the EBU kicking out Joost Klein, Eurovision is a way that people can come together in such a thrilling musical adventure.
